Our Article VII Application
The following is an overview of the key milestones in the NYES regulatory approval process:
October 2019: Submittal of Article VII application to the PSC.
February 2021: Joint Proposal approved by the PSC, representing a settlement between key parties, and issuance of a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need.
February 2021: Approval of Phase I Environmental Management & Construction Plan (EM&CP) — Churchtown Switching Station, Shoofly and Laydown Yards.
April 2021: Approval of Phase II Northern – transmission line from Schodack to Claverack and Knickerbocker Switching Station.
August 2021: Approval of Phase II Southern — transmission line from Claverack to Pleasant Valley, Blue Stores Tap Line and Van Wagner Capacitor Bank Station.
