The NYES Process

The road to completion of a successful transmission project involves five distinct steps:

  4. Permitting & The Article VII Process

  5. Construction

Upon completion, we will have modernized a critical part of New York State’s energy transmission system, alleviating energy bottlenecks, allowing for greater flow of clean energy from upstate generators, and improving the reliability and resiliency of the transmission system.
